TransforMED, the AAFP's wholly owned, nonprofit subsidiary, recently launched an enhanced version of its free online assessment tool, which is designed to help physicians measure their progress toward patient-centered medical home (PCMH) recognition. The tool, dubbed the Medical Home Implementation Quotient 3 (MHIQ 3), allows physicians to assess how their practices match up with essential elements of the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA's) PCMH 2011 standards and guidelines.

KAFP Districts

KAFP organizes the state by the 8 geographical areas or districts pictured below. If you have a local concern, contact your district director, who acts as your voice/vote during KAFP Board Meetings.

KAFP holds district elections in May of each year, alternating each year between even and odd-numbered districts.  In 2012, elections will be held for districts 2, 4, 6 and 8. If you are interested in serving as a director please contact Carolyn Gaughan at kafp@kafponline.org
