Registration open for Intersections of Faith and Health Conference

United Methodist Health Ministry Fund

You are invited to attend the conference: Intersections of Faith and Health "Mobilizing Faith-Based Assets, Public Health and Communities" at Kansas Wesleyan University, Salina.  The pre-conference is Wednesday, October 18 and the conference is Thursday, October 19. Cost is $10 for pre-conference and $15 for conference.

The pre-conference features training sessions on congregational health ministry basics, health ministry team development and parish nursing topics. The Thursday conference opens with keynote, Rev. Dr. Gary Gunderson followed by seven workshops covering topics from health advocacy to faith-based community workers. The day concludes with a panel discussing the future of faith, health and community.
