FREE Social Media Training for your practice
KAFP has secured a Tobacco Mini-Grant from the American Academy of Family Physicians to engage more healthcare providers and health organizations in social media efforts, especially those related to tobacco control. With all of the “fake news,” there is even more need for credible health information and resources being published on social media. It has has become a great influence in our society. As part of the funding we have access to an expert consultant, Carol Bush from The Social Nurse, to assist KAFP and any medical practices who are interested in learning how to easily increase their social media presence. Carol will arrange a 1 hour consultation and training for your selected staff on-site or virtually, at your convenience. (Virtual trainings are available for locations outside of Sedgwick County.) Carol can individualize your training to start from where you’re at and meet the needs of your practice, whether you are interested in patient education, marketing or improving your practice website. And it’s FREE to you! Contact the KAFP office at 316-721-9005 or email Kim Neufeld at firstname.lastname@example.org for scheduling, or more information.
