EXEMPLARY TEACHING AWARD: KAFP also recognizes two Kansas Exemplary Teaching Award winners each year -- one in the Volunteer Category and one in the Full-time/Part-time category.
HUMANITARIAN AWARD: Established in 1997, this award honors extraordinary and enduring humanitarian efforts, both within and beyond the borders of the United States; and encourages AAFP members, their families and colleagues to assume a sense of global responsibility and to encourage service to others. This award is not an annual award but awarded when deemed deserving.
