Help KAFP prepare for Legislative Session; Volunteer for FDOD

KAFP

Please help us be prepared for the upcoming Legislative Session by signing up  to serve as the Family Doctor of the Day (FDOD). Current openings in January: January 11, 17,  24, 30, 31. For a complete calendar listing and to sign up go to the KAFP FDOD web page. Or, contact Michelle Corkins at mcorkins@kafponline.org or 316.721.9005.

If you are an active or resident member with a Kansas license, you are eligible to serve as the FDOD.

The FDOD program is a service opportunity to provide medical care as-needed at the Capitol building.  This is a great opportunity to network in Topeka, learn about the legislative process, perhaps attend part of a session or committee, in addition to providing a much-appreciated service to legislators, staff and visitors.

FDOD volunteers report to the Capitol Building in Topeka at 9:00 a.m. and stay until 3:00 p.m.

If you have not participated before you are missing out on a wonderful opportunity. If you have served in the past, we thank you and welcome you back to serve again!
