Help KAFP prepare for Legislative Session; Volunteer for FDOD
Please help us be prepared for the upcoming Legislative Session by signing up to serve as the Family Doctor of the Day (FDOD). Current openings in January: January 11, 17, 24, 30, 31. For a complete calendar listing and to sign up go to the KAFP FDOD web page. Or, contact Michelle Corkins at email@example.com or 316.721.9005.
If you are an active or resident member with a Kansas license, you are eligible to serve as the FDOD.
The FDOD program is a service opportunity to provide medical care as-needed at the Capitol building. This is a great opportunity to network in Topeka, learn about the legislative process, perhaps attend part of a session or committee, in addition to providing a much-appreciated service to legislators, staff and visitors.
FDOD volunteers report to the Capitol Building in Topeka at 9:00 a.m. and stay until 3:00 p.m.
If you have not participated before you are missing out on a wonderful opportunity. If you have served in the past, we thank you and welcome you back to serve again!
