“Let’s Move, Kansas” 5K Run/1.5 mile Walk is October 10th
WICHITA, KAN — Kansas Academy of Family Physicians-Foundation (KAFP-Foundation) will have its first run/walk event fundraiser on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Sedgwick County Park in Wichita, Kan. The "Let's Move, Kansas" 5K race and 1.5 mile walk is to promote an active, healthy lifestyle for all Kansans. It benefits the Kansas Academy of Family Physicians-Foundation, whose mission is to promote the philosophy of family medicine, research, and education of Kansas Family Physicians.

The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 1.5 mile walk starts at 9:15 a.m. Participants receive an exclusive race t-shirt and swag bag. Division medals will be awarded, with all youth/children finishers receiving a medal. Cash prizes for male and female 5K top competitive runners: 1st ($125) 2nd ($75) and 3rd ($50) place. A plaque for largest team.This event is designed for the whole family to enjoy, and will include a live DJ and prize giveaways! The presenting sponsor is Wichita Nephrology Group, P.A.
